Chill in the Air.

For the next couple of days we are having below normal temps.  By the weekend it looks to be back to average.  When I left for my ride yesterday morning it was in the mid 40's.  Currently it's 41 degrees with a chance of rain.  The chance of rain I didn't know about until just now.  Ugh.

Anyway, yesterday I headed out on my Seven Sola SL mtb.  I did a couple laps on the Talahi Race Track before making my way down to Sand Prairie.  The cooler weather has me thinking of fat biking so I figured I'd check out the winter loops.  It was pretty wet from dew but fun as I haven't been down to  SP on bike yet this year.  Bumpity Bump is totally overgrown.  Hopefully after a few frosts occur I can snake together the dear trails for a loop.  After SP it was back up the prison hill for a full lap at the North Loop and some laps at Friedrich Park.

Early Morning at Sand Prairie.

I ended with a bit over two hours.  A quick shower, pack the bike, and off to work via the CrossCheck.  I've found my groove (routine) with commuting and rather enjoy it.  Even on crisp mornings.  We'll see what happens when it rains!

My plan this morning was to head out for a few hours on the Cutthroat.  I still hope to but if it rains I may bail.  Low 40's and rain kind of sucks.
