Let it Snow.

A bit of a weird week in that I had Wednesday and Thursday off.  I wish I was out on the Mukluk busting new trail but we have zero snow.  Thus I was out getting dusty on the gravel.

Both days had similar winds, S/SE. Wednesday I was on the Cutthroat and Thursday I opted for the Evergreen.  Both days I thought I'd do the Dirt Bag route but as I neared the course I opted for something different.  I hit sections of the Dirt Bag both days but I think I've finally have had enough of the Dirt Bag for 2020, ha!

While both days were similar I made sure to avoid too much overlap.  I crossed hwy 12 at Waverly on Wednesday and Montrose yesterday.  Wednesday I went further West on the return while yesterday I stayed more East.  Both days were great rides.  But I am truly longing for snow.

Wednesday on the Cutthroat.
Thursday on the Evergreen.

I'm heading out soon on the Krampus for a couple hours before work.  This time I plan on hitting up the South Side trails, Plum Creek and River Bluffs.  This weekend appears to be more of the same weather.  Next week before Christmas it looks like the temperature drops a bunch but no snow forecasted.

I did destroy the derailleur on the Mukluk last week.  All derailleurs that would work are out of stock.  I plan on robbing one from the Seven Sola for now.  Maybe I'll get that done today.  The ice is good on most lakes I ride by so I'd like to get the Mukluk out on those next week.

Happy Weekend.
